The Inspire Team

Oliver Hall, PT, PRC

Oliver opened Inspire Physical Therapy in April of 2007 to create an environment for optimal patient care.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical therapy at the University of Vermont, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After gradation, he went to work at a physical therapy clinic located at the renowned Green Mountain Valley School ski academy. In December of 2005, Oliver's interest in biomechanics and movement patterns led him to become one of the first twelve therapists in the country to be certified in Postural Restoration. He has presented to physicians, rehab specialists, universities and ski coaches on this approach.

Oliver has and extensive background in alpine skiing which includes: attending ski academies in Switzerland and Norway, racing for the British National Ski Team (representing them at the 1996 World Championships) and racing for the Univerity of Vermont Ski Team. He has treated skiers of all ages and abilities from novices to national team athletes.

Oliver enjoys skiing (both alpine and nordic), road biking, running and tennis.  

Vance Schug ATC, PES

Vance Schug has spent the past 15 years in the sports medicine injury care field as a certified athletic trainer. This encompasses collaboration with physicians in the prevention, diagnosis and intervention of emergency, acute and chronic health conditions. This path has led him to a variety of diverse settings all demanding high quality of health care and innovative approaches to injury rehabilitation.  Some of the places include ski academy, physical therapy clinic, amateur sporting venues, college infirmary and Div I collegiate athletics. Typical people Vance works with are those with musculoskeletal injuries who refer themselves or by a physician, recreational or professional athletes, and individuals looking for guidance with fitness or performance enhancement. Vance's clinical focus in recent years has been to develop a model rehab program utilizing the health care "team" approach of athletic sports injury care, strength/conditioning principles and the biomechanical philosophy of the Postural Restoration Institute.

 Interests:

Vance currently lives in Shelburne with his wife Keri and their two daughters Kelsie and Sofia. In his spare time he enjoys hanging out with his family, skiing, golfing and running the annual Burlington City Marathon.

 

Cathy Dodge, Billing Officer

Cathy is available Monday to Friday from 8-12 to answer any of your billing questions or concerns. She has worked with insurance claims and billing issues of the last 30 years and will be able to help you determine your eligibility and special insurance requirements when you are not able to find the answers you need. 

Cathy is a certified herbalist who focuses on nutritional health issues. She teaches subject driven classes as well as providing life coaching and one-on-one consultations under the name Healing Leaves. 

Jessica Hall, MEd, ATC

Jessica came to Vermont from Connecticut to study Athletic Training at the University of Vermont. After graduation, she earned a Master of Education from the University of Virginia, where she was taught by many of the leaders in the field of Sports Medicine. She returned to Vermont in 2001 to work for the Sports and Orthopedic Rehabilitation Center. After leaving SORC, Jessica went to work at the University of Vermont for the Athletic Medicine Department. Jessica has experience working with both High School and various division one collegiate teams. She is trained in Postural Restoration. Over the last few years she has taken time to be at home with her two daughters, but still finds time to teach spinning and work with Mount Mansfield Union High School covering athletic events. Jessica is an avid road biker and skier. She lives in Essex with her husband Oliver and daughters Anna and Sarah.
